Tiki Party

Missing your summer vacation or recent trip to the islands? Bring back the fun in the sun and party tropical style. Hand out flower leis, wear Hawaiian shirts, and mix up the tastiest tropical cocktails. Ultimate Party can help you achieve a true tiki vibe New Year's Eve party theme with our collection of summertime party supplies.

Roaring 20s Throwback

If you still like the black-and-gold color palette of the traditional New Year's Eve party theme, you can keep it and mix things up by taking your theme back a century. Your party will be a blast from the past when you serve up gin rickeys, sidecars, and bees knees cocktails. Ask guests to come dressed in their 1920s best attire.

Casino Theme

What better way to kill time until midnight than by playing some good casino-style card games with family? If you have little ones to entertain, swap out the usual deck of cards for a game of Go Fish or Uno. Candy is a great replacement for money when betting on hands! In our casino party supplies, you can find handy table covers for playing casino games like blackjack, craps, and more.

TikTok Trends Theme

Whether you or your tweens watch TikToks, Facebook reels, or YouTube shorts, there's no shortage of funny memes and dances that get stuck in our heads. Ask each guest to embody a trending idea or choose a funny dance from their favorite platform. For example, one guest might be 6, and another 7. Or, there could be guests acting like "Karens". Put the fries in the bag (we're pretty sure that's slang for "stop talking"), and you'll be surprised by how creative your teeny bopper guests can get!

Villians Party

Find your dark side and go with a New Year's Eve party theme where everyone dresses up as their favorite villain! It could be a character from your child's favorite Disney movie, a Marvel comic book, or a popular TV show character like the Night King from Game of Thrones. You can dress your entire family in unique kid's, women's, and men's costumes found in our online costume shop. While you wait for the ball to drop, you can watch movies featuring your chosen characters.

Create a Time Capsule

This New Year's Eve party theme for families can get a little sentimental for everyone. Ask guests to bring one item that represents something they loved or were deeply involved in this year to be stowed away in a time capsule. Invite everyone back a year later to open your New Year's Eve time capsule. People will be surprised by how their likes have changed (or not).

Confetti Theme

While it's always awe-inspiring to watch a midnight fireworks show at midnight on New Year's Eve, not everyone will have this opportunity. Instead, you can swap fireworks for a much more convenient and quiet option —confetti! When the ball drops, crack confetti poppers and burst confetti balloons for a wondrous moment of shiny confetti sparkling through the air. This New Year's Eve party theme for families can also be turned into a game of 'who can clean up the most confetti'.

New Year's Game Night

Break out the board games or ask your friends to bring their favorite games for a night of friendly competition. Or, if your family is into the digital gaming scene, have a video game battle royale. Too many people and not enough controllers at your party? Use your phones and tablets to join together for a group experience on multiplayer platforms like Roblox.

Glow Party

Turn the lights down low and break out the glow sticks! To enhance this New Year's Eve party theme for families, you'll need a good playlist or party music station so guests can dance and watch the glow lights swirl! Use glow party decorations, set up a few blacklights to enhance the scene, and wear clothing that will react with fluorescence.

Disco Theme

You will need a disco ball for this New Year's Eve party theme. Once your ball is set up on your intended dance floor, make a groovy 70s music playlist and tell everyone to break out the bell-bottoms, maxi dresses, and platform shoes.

Fire & Ice Theme

Use red/gold and blue/silver tones in your decor to represent fire and ice. Serve up some fiery, hot, and spicy foods, as well as chilled cocktails, ice cream, or other frozen desserts. Ask guests to choose either fire or ice, then dress in their best to represent their choice.

Masquerade Night

While throwing a full masquerade ball might be a bit much, you can still have fun dressing up and wearing stylish masks for a bit of mystery. You could also turn part of the night into a craft project by making your own masks. Kids and adults alike will have fun bedazzling masks with rhinestones and feathers.

Don't let this New Year's Eve slip by while you fall asleep on the couch. Make it one to remember as you spend time laughing and dancing with friends and family. Boost high spirits and party vibes with Ultimate Party's New Year's Eve decor and party supplies.
