Air-filled latex balloons and mylar balloons can last about a week or so.

For outdoor parties, hold off until the last hour or so before you decorate with inflated balloons. Also, avoid keeping inflated balloons in a bag for more than 30 minutes. The ideal temperature to keep inflated balloons is between 72-78 degrees fahrenheit.
