Matthew's Paintings

The owners of Ultimate Party Superstore, the Fuqua’s, are a hardworking, dedicated, and caring family. When their son, Matthew, was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease in 2023, this dedication didn’t falter. Instead, they surrounded themselves with a loving community of people who wanted the best for Matthew, including their local customers!

In 2025, after many prayers, blessings, and unbelievable support from the community, Matthew was able to receive a life-saving kidney transplant. Shortly after, though, some more news arrived. In the last half of 2025, it was found that Matthew had developed a serious form of cancer. As the Fuqua’s had done before, they leaned into their community to get through this devastating news. After chemotherapy, sleepless nights at the hospital, and much prayer, they were making it through.

Recently, at the start of 2026, this family of great people received the best news of their entire lives… Matthew was cancer-free.

During this challenging time of life, Matthew discovered a new hobby of his, which is displayed perfectly in these planetary paintings.
